Tai Chi is effective for overall health, stress reduction, body and spatial awareness and enhanced balance.
The class is rooted in Traditional Yang style Tai Chi but a short form will be taught. The teaching will include Yang Style Pushing Hands and Chen Silk Reeling exercise as well as some Nei-gong/Chi-gong exercises. The instructor began training in Yang style in the mid 1980’s and is also trained in Chen style and Baguazhang. For those who are interested the martial aspects of the form can be explained and demonstrated but the focus in on health.
